Ant with Cordyceps
This glass Ant with Cordyceps is almost lifesize and closely modeled after real carpenter ants, and exhibiting colonization by the cordyceps fungi - yuck!
He is made of Effetre (aka "soft") glass via the lampworking technique - sculpted from molten glass rods, over an oxy-propane torch. Afterward, it has been annealed in a digitally-controlled kiln, so is fully stabilized and when properly cared for, should last several human lifetimes (much longer than a live ant!)
- 1.5 inches long, 1 inches wide, 1.5 inches tall
Made from Moretti/Effetre glass.
- Signed on underside of body, between front legs - NOT DATED, it's too small to fit!
- All of my sculptures are individually hand-made by me, Wesley Fleming, by melting glass rods over a torch and then properly annealed in a digitally-controlled kiln to remove any stress from the making process.

Taxes and Import Duties
Orders shipped within Massachusetts will be subject to our state's 6.25% sales tax. For orders from all other states within the USA, buyer is responsible for remitting sales tax to their own state (but I'm not keeping track, LOL!)
Orders shipped to countries outside of U.S may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; I have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
