This spider has a fun swirl of colors on its abdomen, body and legs. Although leggy and therefore creepy, it is also incredibly beautiful and a prized pet as a result! Just keep it well fed and it won't come creeping toward you with bad intent.
It is made of Effetre (aka "soft") glass via the lampworking technique - sculpted from molten glass rods, over an oxy-propane torch. Afterward, it has been annealed in a digitally-controlled kiln, so is fully stabilized and when properly cared for, should last several human lifetimes (much longer than a live spider - and far less dangerous!)
