I captured this glass Terrestrial Snail trying to crawl into my kiln, leaving a trail of slime all the way! It is small and detailed just like all of my work, with individual optical and sensory proboscises so it will see and smell its new home.
It is made of Effetre (aka "soft") glass via the lampworking technique - sculpted from molten glass rods, over an oxy-propane torch. Afterward, it has been annealed in a digitally-controlled kiln, so is fully stabilized and when properly cared for, should last several human lifetimes (much longer than a live mushroom!)
